Don’t rush. Everything has its timing. Forcing things your own way without going with the accordance of the cosmic clock will only make things harder for you.
The cosmic clock is like seasons but with humans. Each human has its own seasons. There’s a season for being still and acquiring knowledge, and a season for taking action and putting this knowledge into use.
In other words, there’s a season to plant the seeds and a season for the seeds to grow and become visible.
You can’t plant a seed and expect it to grow the next day, or the next week. It takes patience. The good thing is that you don’t even have to know what season is now for you. Things will fall into place for you to prepare for each season.
So there are times where you have to sit down and be calm, be still, clear your garden (mind), and just read or acquire knowledge while waiting for the seeds to be planted in your garden (mind).
“There is purpose in your season of waiting.” — Megan Smalley
The seeds will eventually grow if you let them grow, and then there will come a time where you’ll be pushed to take action.
Stop overthinking and overanalyzing things, stop stressing and worrying and just go with the flow. If there’s a day that you feel like doing nothing, then let it be that way.
Doing nothing is actually an illusion. You can only see what happens in the physical world, that’s why you think doing nothing brings nothing back.
The reality is, doing nothing is good for your mind, you are in a way cleaning your garden and preparing it for seeds to be planted. So don’t feel bad when you feel like doing nothing sometimes because you are actually doing something if you follow your intuition.
After a 2 or 3 days of “doing nothing”, an inspired idea might pop up and all of a sudden you’ll be working on something and progressing too fast. That’s because you’ve let your mind relax and you’ve prepare it for the seeds to be planted.
If you let our mind recharge, it will give you a boost into taking an action with those new seeds that have been planted while you were doing “nothing”.
“Doing is never enough if you neglect Being. The ego knows nothing of Being but believes you will eventually be saved by doing. If you are in the grip of the ego, you believe that by doing more and more you will eventually accumulate enough ‘doings’ to make yourself feel complete at some point in the future. You won’t. You will only lose yourself in doing. The entire civilization is losing itself in doing that is not rooted in Being and thus becomes futile.” — Eckhart Tolle
That’s where we come to the myth of hard work. You can be working hard and not seeing results and one other guy just takes action when it feels right and gets bigger and better results than you. Everything is mental, don’t get too caught up with the physical world.
Don’t try to force things in the physical world because the only thing you are doing is sabotaging your potential. Stillness is potential. Stillness does not exist in forceful actions.
Now how to know when to take action? You’ll just feel it. Stop overanalyzing and overthinking and trust gut. Your gut is like a chemical computer, far more powerful than the binary ones that we use everyday. Take care of it and listen to it. There's intelligence there.
All this physical things that you see are just a reflection of the mental plane. Your thoughts, feelings, emotions and states of mind are on the mental plane.
Work with these and your physical world will have no other option but to reflect back to you your mental world. Use your mental tools in the right way.
You’ll feel energized and inspired to take action and that’s when you’ll know that its time for action.
Don’t overcomplicate things. Relax and you’ll see it, you’ll feel it. And when I say relax, do it without guilt. Everything has to do with your state of mind. Fix that first and trust that the physical world will reflect it back to you.
